Designed to equip students with critical thinking and linguistic skills through constant exposure to current affairs from national and international newspapers or renown media on a regular basis, focusing on writing, news analysis and language use based on the latest MOE syllabus.

Language Use and Mastery
- Able to understand and use vocabulary in relation to pronounciation, form and meaning.
- Able to effectively use vocabulary and sentence structure in verbal and written exams.
- Able to identify collocation for each vocabulary
Oral Communications

- Able to engage audience during discussion on current affairs.

Writing
- Able to use relevant vocabulary and descriptive phrases to correspond to questions or scenarios.
- Apply effective sentence structure and descriptive phrases to complete a well planned story based on given visuals.
- Learn to depict a person with appropriate descriptions as well as writing techniques.
- Learn to write a decent official and private emails.
News Reading and Analysis
