MIDDLE PRIMARY FOUR

Designed for students to master Chinese Language, evaluate questions and implement examination answering techniques to achieve a desirable academic outcome. It helps to prepare students to get familiarized with key PSLE components like composition, comprehension, oral and language usage. 

PRIMARY 4 LEARNING OUTCOMES

Language Use and Mastery

• Able to understand and use vocabulary in relation to pronounciation, form and meaning.
• Able to effectively use vocabulary and sentence structure in verbal and written tasks.

Oral Communications

• Listen, read and respond to questions with appropriate vocabulary and sentence structure.
• Able to use vocabulary to describe actions, behaviour and emotions.
• Able to express viewpoints on a subject matter through knowledge of vocabulary.

Composition Writing

• Able to use relevant vocabulary and descriptive phrases to correspond to questions or scenarios.
• Apply effective sentence structure and descriptive phrases to complete a well-planned story based on given visuals.
• Apply specific writing techniques and rhetorical devices to create content.

Reading Comprehension

• Implement strategies to reading, analyse, compare and conclude themes.
• Identify key words and solve different question types with exam techniques.
• Apply proper answering techniques.

Vocabulary

• Memorize new words, differentiate words with similar forms, meanings and pronounciations.
• Categorise and match words to form specific phrases, including synonyms, antonyms and applying them to verbal and written work effectively.
• Recognize and retain the set list of vocabulary based on the MOE syllabus and master key words and phrases to apply in oral and composition exams.

• Term Break on last week cycle of each Term
• Classes that fall on Public Holidays may opt for Replacement classes
• Replacement class options available within each week cycle
• Weekly cycles starts from Friday and end on Thursday
• All classes are online, materials are mailed to your doorsteps with no extra fees.
